Major slave trading regions of Africa, 15th–19th centuries
Well mostly african american are descendant of black african slave. Their ancestor are originated from black africa (not north africa).
What part of Africa region did most slaves come from?
There were eight principal areas used by Europeans to buy and ship slaves to the Western Hemisphere. The number of enslaved people sold to the New World varied throughout the slave trade. As for the distribution of slaves from regions of activity, certain areas produced far more enslaved people than others. Between 1650 and 1900, 10.24 million enslaved Africans arrived in the Americas from the following regions in the following proportions:
- Senegambia (Senegal and the Gambia): 4.8%
- Upper Guinea (Guinea-Bissau, Guinea and Sierra Leone): 4.1%
- Windward Coast (Liberia and Ivory Coast): 1.8%
- Gold Coast (Ghana and east of Ivory Coast): 10.4%
- Bight of Benin (Togo, Benin and Nigeria west of the Niger Delta): 20.2%
- Bight of Biafra (Nigeria east of the Niger Delta, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon): 14.6%
- West Central Africa (Republic of Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo and Angola): 39.4%
- Southeastern Africa (Mozambique and Madagascar): 4.7%

The European (non irish) DNA was coming from the slave owner family. Well according to Borat, the slave owner had a sexy time with their exotic african slave female. The movie Django Unchained and Movie Litle Missy can give you good understanding.
Meanwhile the Irish DNA was coming from the Irish Female Slave. Surprise???
The British Empire sold 300,000 slave/serf servant to the new world America.
The Slave owner want to cheap slave, so they breed the male black african slave with same black african female or with irish slave female.
Sometime a slave owner was interested in exotic female slave. Or some women in the slave owner family had a sexy time (borat term) business with this macho black african slave male.
Irish slave trade was just hoax just a myth?
If the irish slave trade was just a myth, so the irish ancestor for the african american were the slave owner who had sexy time with the slave. But I believed that irish slave trade are existed as the irish is poor class of society (serf / servant). The irish is inferior compare to british in America. The Irish were not possible to have black african slave.
Irish indentured servants were Irish people who became indentured servants in territories under the control of the British Empire, such as the Caribbean (particularly Barbados, Jamaica and the Leeward Islands), British North America and later Australia.
Many came willingly, agreeing to provide up to seven years of labor in return for passage to the New World and food, housing, and shelter during their indenture. At the end of this period, their masters were legally required to grant them "freedom dues," in the form of either land or capital.
Others were transported unwillingly: as political prisoners, vagrants, or people who had been defined as "undesirable" by the state.[1] Penal transportation of Irish people was at its height during the 17th century, during the Cromwellian conquest and settlement of Ireland. During this period, thousands of Irish people were sent to the Caribbean, or "Barbadosed", against their will. Similar practices continued as late as the Victorian period where Irish political prisoners were sent to imperial British penal colonies in Tasmania.
